Working across the street from Pike Motorworks, which opened in 2015 in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, we see the building every day. That may make us immune from noticing slow wearing of elements like signage over time.
So we were super impressed by how much of a difference it made when new owner TA Realty and property manager Greystar recently replaced the signage (and happy that they hired us for the work).
TA Realty and Greystar wanted signage that was more prominent and branded, and did a better job of directing people to the building’s interior retail courtyard. This is particularly important for Pike Motorworks given that Capitol Hill’s Pike-Pine district is among Seattle’s most walkable areas.
We worked with League of Excellence to develop and deploy the new signage, which is bigger, bolder and much more representative of the Pike Motorworks brand. It’s a good reminder to stay vigilant about how buildings appear to the public, and that small updates can help quite a bit.
